The TG-245 M8 wire clamp is a steel cross connector designed to securely connect two round tubes. The wire clamp is positioned around the intersecting tubes and tightened using the nuts and clamping plate. This creates a strong mechanical connection without the need for welding or drilling.
Within this product group, side A is designed for a fixed tube diameter of 1" (33.7 mm). Depending on the version, side B is suitable for a tube diameter of 1" (33.7 mm), 1½" (48.3 mm) or 2" (60.3 mm). This allows the TG-245 range to be used for several different tube cross connections.
The wire clamp is manufactured from steel, has an M8 thread and is electrolytically zinc plated. The zinc coating provides corrosion protection and makes the clamp suitable for applications such as greenhouse construction, technical tube structures and other installations where round tubes need to be mechanically connected.
The TG-245 M8 straight wire clamp is available in three size combinations:
Diameter A refers to the tube size on the first side of the wire clamp, near the clamping plate. Diameter B refers to the tube size on the second side of the wire clamp. Always select the version that matches the outside diameter of both tubes being connected.
A TG-245 wire clamp is used to connect two round tubes at a crossing point. It is suitable for applications including greenhouse construction and other tube structures where a compact, strong and removable cross connection is required.
Position the two tubes at the required crossing point and place the wire clamp around both tubes. Fit the clamping plate correctly and tighten the nuts evenly. After installation, check that both tubes are securely clamped and cannot move.
