The TG-245 is a cross-wire clamp for greenhouse use. It creates a firm X- or T-junction between two wires—such as trellis,
crop-support and screen edge lines—so runs remain accurately positioned and do not creep. Made from electrolytically zinc-plated
steel, the clamp provides practical corrosion protection in covered horticultural environments. A stiff clamping face spreads
pressure to limit point wear on the wire and maintain tidy routing across bays and frames.
Operation is straightforward: cross the wires, place the clamp centrally over the intersection and tighten evenly. No separate eyes,
turnbuckles or threaded rods are required. The straight geometry helps preserve uniform tension during crop changeovers, screen
adjustments and seasonal re-tensioning. For permanently wet or chemically aggressive zones, a hot-dip galvanised variant is
recommended.
Key features
Wire-on-wire junction: secure X or T connection without additional fittings.
Stable alignment: prevents movement and keeps wire runs accurately positioned.
Even clamping pressure: rigid face reduces local abrasion on crop and screen wires.
Electrolytic zinc finish: clean, uniform coating for covered greenhouse areas.
Rapid installation: centre on the crossing and tighten; easy to re-tension later.
Greenhouse applications
Trellis and crop-support lines along production rows.
Screen edges and guide lines requiring fixed, compact junctions.
Stay and guide wires near gutters, end walls, doors and service corridors.
Installation guidance
Cross the wires; seat the clamp centrally and tighten screws evenly across the joint.
Increase wire tension gradually to avoid indenting; re-check after thermal cycles.
Protect the zinc coating; avoid grinding or cutting in close proximity.
Maintenance
Inspect annually for wire tension, clamp bite and signs of abrasion; re-tension if required.
Replace worn fasteners; use hot-dip galvanised versions in harsher atmospheres.
